Walking Distance to Hot Spots

We chose this site based on location and not for amenities. The second floor apartment has been nicely renovated but be prepared, it's in an older building and the floor slopes substantially! We were told it was safe and truly believe that. Many of the buildings in town were sloped or leaning due to age and the ground they were build on. They don't call it "Low Country" for nothing. Being from the west we thoroughly enjoyed the selection of seafood and many restaurants all within short walking distance. We worked in some golf and a tour to Ft. Sumpter where the first shots of the Civil War were fired. It was very informative to read about the history of this place and it's people. We found it to be quite charming and friendly. The 2-bedroom place was comfortable with two full baths. The rooms aren't huge but we weren't in them much. The kitchen is nicely equipped and the bath supplies plentiful.”
