The Stout House Cabin

Welcome to the Stout House Cabin - a charming, private home just five miles from the heart of South Lake Tahoe! It is a ten-minute drive from El Dorado Beach, Heavenly, the casinos, trailheads to The Desolation Wilderness, and much more. The Lake Tahoe Golf course is just three miles away. Come start your year-round Tahoe adventure!

Slow down and enjoy your morning coffee in the serenity of the private backyard off the large open porch. Hike until your heart’s content with a system of trails that connect right from the backyard where you can hike, bike, and cross-country ski to the Upper Truckee River and throughout the South Lake Tahoe area. You can also enjoy the peace and quiet with a good book over in the reading nook.

The living room welcomes you with an Apple TV and comfortable seating. Gather around after a long day and finish the night streaming your favorite shows with some hot cocoa.

Steps away, you will find the dining table for six with a pellet stove to keep you cozy. Enjoy homemade meals with the fully equipped kitchen. The kitchen has a drip coffee maker, Nespresso machine, toaster, blender, hand mixer, slow cooker, and more!

The spacious backyard is terrific all year round. Enjoy grilling up burgers on the gas BBQ or lounging around on the hammock in the warmer months. In the winter, make snowmen or have snowball fights with your friends and family!

There is one bedroom with a Queen bed with sliding doors to the back porch, and a shared full bathroom on the main floor. The spiral staircase takes you to the remaining two bedrooms and the shared 2nd bathroom. The 2nd bedroom has a Queen bed, and the 3rd bedroom has a Queen bed with French doors that open to a balcony and a work desk, great for those who need to work from home!

There are two parking spots and a washer/dryer available for your use.

Due to close access to Pioneer Trail, traffic noise during the summer months may be heard when windows are open.
