Oregon coast

The view and location is perfect, but the house needs a deep clean and lots of small repairs. Furniture is dirty, sheets are stained, towels need updated. Not the same quality as I have experienced with our home or other third home exchanges. Beach is a harsh environment though. Kitchen was well stocked. Walk down to the beach worth a thousand words! ”

300+ starfish, incredible tidal pools, wonderful beach house!!

After arriving had a couple of cooler/murky days, but the sun finally came out half way toward the end of our stay with 60 degree weather. Great tidal pools when tide is out. and great location on the beach front!! Tons of fun for me and my grandchildren but a little challenging to remind them, over and over again, to be careful as the house is "too nice" as to its furnishings. Suggest removing the very nice (expensive) ornamental items and provide a covering for the family room couch as it was tough to keep the kids from doing normal living not to dirty the beautiful furniture. The owners were already incredibly forgiving and very gracious when the first night their 1/2 inch thick coffee table crashed when my oldest grandchild (9) unwittingly put her bare feet up on the coffee table to watch TV and before I could say "don't put your feet on the coffee table" it crashed!!! So on one had, it is a perfect place for children when it comes the location for tidal pool exploration but not perfect place inside as everything is too nice for kids and for me to relax. :). But what a perfect location!! We must have seen over 300 star fish!! Tons of mussels on big boulders!! ”

The Perfect Getaway

Honestly, I wish I could write about all the things we did around Lincoln City and vicinity, but truth be told we were so happy with this home we were content spending most of our time on the beach either walking down to the tide pools to the right or up and down it! Sometimes in the evenings we made a campfire on the beach and did marshmallows. Of course we did the big ticket attractions like Devil's Punch Bowl and the lighthouse. However, I could sit and look out the 180 degree views of the ocean from both first and second floor all day long while working on my laptop. The 3 bedrooms were huge and plenty of space to spread out. Since many restaurants were limited on serving we utilized the grill almost every night. The host Elizabeth was a pleasure to work with and gave us all the information we needed. We definitely plan come back someday! ”

BEAUTIFUL BEACHFRONT HOME

We loved our stay at this lovely home just steps away from the beach. The sunsets were spectacular! We enjoyed lots of long walks on the beach, a variety of fabulous restaurants, numerous art galleries and relaxing time reading and just looking at the view. ”

Wonderful Week

We totally enjoyed our stay in this property, Three generations enjoyed the hoiuse and each other. Everyday was a new adventure in the local towns. Sandcastles on the beach, fooseball and pool at the house, sunsets and the 4th of July. Thanks for allowing us to experience the Oregon Coast. ”

Beach walks, hikes .... great location to experience the OR coast

We really had a nice time. Easy access to the beach, where we took long walks. The tides got soooo low, the beach is really wide and flat. There is even a nice hike within walking distance of the house. Close access to everything to stock-up and enjoy the home. ”
