April 2023Wonderful experience in Cabo
This is our second visit to Solaz and we absolutely love it! Beautiful facility, wonderful beach (that is swimmable on most days... unusual in Cabo) and very nice suite. Highly recommend a stay here!”

March 2023Solaz success
We recently went for a quick jaunt to Cabo and stayed at this amazing two bedroom suite at The Solaz. The suite was two bedroom ( one king and the other with two queens ), two bathroom, kitchen with washer and dryer, living room, guest bathroom, plenty of storage and a lovely patio overlooking the landscapes back of the property and the ocean. The full service was attentive and thoughtful and upon arrival we were given the whats app contact for our butler who was fantastic. We are very much independent when in Cabo but we did. stay on the property to lay at the pool a few afternoons which was lovely right on the beach two very long infinity pools percent to swim properly in and numerous bars and restaurants, the margaritas and tacos were great! Daily we walked from the property along the sand and got our steps in, all easy safe and stunning. We would love to go back to Solaz soon ?”

March 2023Disappointing Stay
This is the 3rd time staying at the Solaz resort. Once as a Thirdhome guest and once as a hotel guest. Both prior stays were great. I should mention those were before the closing. While we were technically in a Presidential Suite we were in the building closest to the road and you could hear road noise in the unit and on the balcony. Plus there were no lounge chairs or the patio spa like our two previous stays. We mentioned this right after check in and were told that they could not move us until Tuesday. On Tuesday we inquired about the move and we're told that there was no record of the request. A manager was to call us. No one called the entire stay nor followed up. On Thursday night when we inquired why we hadn't been receiving housekeeping we were told they could move us on Friday and clearly there was a problem. Check out was Saturday morning so no sense in moving for one night. We also received a bottle of champagne on Sunday which we assumed was for the noise inconvenience. On Tuesday we found it had been removed from the refrigerator. Strange. The hotel has some aesthetic changes and still have rooms and restaurants under construction/renovation so maybe they are not ready for prime time yet. Pool/beach staff is lovey and the resort in on a nice stretch of beach. There is about a 20/30 min conservation before they check you in about attending The Club timeshare presentation. But once we told them we were unhappy with the noise level in the room there was no pressure to attend. I think the resort is worth visiting, I would just make sure to ask for a room closer to the beach if you don't want to hear the cars from the hwy in the front bedroom or the balcony. Wifi was spotty and they acknowledged they had been having issues and were working on it. We did have room service one night and it was lovely and served on time.”
