A Home from Home but better.

Our family had a lovely stay, we arrived and the Christmas tree was lit up and the house was warm and cosy. The bedrooms are beautifully and tastefully decorated with the softest sheets you can ever imagine! The kitchen is well equipped and the views are beautiful from every window. There are many fabulous restaurants close by but we also enjoyed cooking at home and making use of our surroundings. We would highly recommend this house to anyone wanting a completely relaxing break, there are plenty of walk and trails for fitness and you will miss this place when you leave - as we did!”

Wonderful Vineyard Victorian Estate Home

This new Victorian Estate home is located with the Niagara escarpment Bruce Trial behind it, and sloping vineyards in front, looking down to the lake. Reminded us of Tuscany. The House is impeccable in every way with beautiful décor, modern conveniences and all the amenities. Lots of wine tasting nearby as well as fine winery restaurants. We visited Niagara-on- the lake and Niagara Falls, both just over 30 minutes away, and attended a play at the Shaw Festival. Helen was a gracious host. ”

Our stay at Niagara Vineyard Estate House was even better than imagined. It was a perfect location between Toronto and the Niagara Falls area. We loved both! Helen was a wonderful host, provided thoughtful information, and unlike most ThirdHome stays, greeted us personally and spent time with our children. Wines from the vineyard were also available, and were wonderful! ”

Views and To Do's

The estate house at Cave Spring Vineyards is a jewel indeed. Set in a luscious vineyard, part of a beautifully maintained conservation area, the house looks like a 19th century manor home. The ample rooms are furnished with comfortably elegant furniture. There are numerous porches and balconies from which spectacular views abound in every direction. Lake Ontario and Toronto can be seen in the distance on clear days and nights. In the middle of Ontario's wine country, the estate is close to numerous vineyards, charming towns, and Lake Ontario. Niagara Falls is only a half hour away, and simply spectacular. Toronto is just an hour away, with the CN Tower and views literally for miles. All of this pales in comparison to the gracious hospitality of the owners. The Youngs were so helpful, welcoming, interesting, and fun. A week was too short in this immaculate, lovely and perfectly situated home! Thank you so much, Helen, Len and Giulliana!!!”

As soon as we booked our trip, Helen went above and beyond to send ample suggestions of things to do and see during our stay with a great selection of local favorites. Not only an oenophiles dream, there is a little bit of everything available nearby this fantastic wine country destination. Fine dining, theatre, hiking, fishing, breweries, shopping, Toronto, Niagara Falls and more... there is truly something for everyone within moments of the Estate House. The "offseason" may have been the perfect time to visit with fewer crowds and distractions. We hope to return one day and will highly recommend the Estate House and Canadian wine country to others!”
