This vineyard is situated in the heart of Malbec country, specifically in the Valle de Uco, within the picturesque enclave known as Paraje Altamira, in close proximity to the village of La Consulta. Noteworthy neighbors in the Uco valley include esteemed wineries such as Zuccardi, Salentein, Piedra Negra and Catena, as well as a selection of boutique independent wine producers.

The unique terroir of this vineyard is shaped by the imposing presence of the Andes mountain range. Located at an impressive altitude of 1,029 meters above sea level, this elevation allows for a distinctive climate. Here, the snowmelt from the lofty peaks of the Andes generously irrigates the vineyards, nurturing the grapes. The soil beneath is adorned with polished calcareous pebbles, transported over millennia from the Andes by meandering streams and ancient glaciers. This region basks in the radiance of the sun for approximately 330 days a year, ensuring optimal grape ripening. Moreover, cool nighttime breezes gracefully sweep through, preserving the grapes' natural freshness and allowing them to mature with rich and full flavors.
