Daniels Reef is a rocky beach break located just north of Matheson Bay, in Leigh. In the right surfing conditions, there is one prominent peak with both right and left-handers. Suitable for intermediate to expert surfers.

Leigh is also a 20-30 minute drive to stunning sandy surf beaches including Pakiri, Tawharanui and Oamaha.

There are also world class golf courses available nearby at Te Arai and Omaha Beach Golf Club.
