The apartment is located in Milan's elegant Brera district, part of the city's historic center, Brera is known as the district where art, fashion and design meet, and many consider it Milan's most beautiful neighborhood. It houses the famous Pinacoteca gallery of art, one of Italy's most important museums. With its beautiful architecture, chic shops, bars and restaurants, Brera offers a rich experience, both culturally and socially.
The apartment is located on the main pedestrian street in Brera, Corso Garibaldi. The spacious, 150 square meters home has a large central open area, comprising of a living, dining and kitchen area. From this main body, three balconies overlook the pedestrian street below. There are two bedrooms - one with a queen side bed, the other with a full size bed. Both have en suite bathrooms. Both bedrooms face an internal courtyard, and all windows and French doors are triple-glazed, so the apartment and especially the sleeping quarters are very quiet.
The apartment is air conditioned, has a large flat-screen TV, and designer kitchen with full, upscale amenities. Designer furniture and lighting, and beautiful art, make it a wonderful place to be, an oasis of calm and peace in a vibrant and exciting part of the city.
Just step outside the apartment and you'll find many bars, restaurants, and beautiful shops. Walk across the street to famous hairdresser Coppola; walk two minutes to Eataly, with its amazing four floors of Italian fine food, wines and restaurants; walk three minutes to 10 Corso Como, where you can shop the latest fashion and sip a Hugo cocktail. The apartment is perfectly positioned to explore the best of Milan on foot. Many of Milan's attractions - the Duomo, the Galleria Vittorio Emanuele, the Castello Sforzesco, La Scala, the "Golden Quadrangle" shopping district - are within a 20 minute stroll from the apartment. But if you're less inclined to walk, the Moscova tube station is less than 5 minute's walk away.
For nature lovers or runners, there are two beautiful parks close to the apartment. Day trips out of Milan are also convenient. Lake Como is only a 45 minute drive, and both Lake Maggiore and Lake Garda can also be reached on a day trip. The lovely city of Bergamo is also nearby, and high speed trains can take you within an hour to Bologna, or 1.5 hours to Florence.
