Tahoe Donner Delight

Welcome to Tahoe Donner Delight - a fitting name for this stunning mountain cabin located just a few miles from Donner Lake and 20 min from Lake Tahoe. This is a 2-bedroom home, ideal for one or two small families or groups of friends who are looking to explore Northern California’s most popular attractions and come back to a stylish retreat! The cabin is close to the exceptional amenities at Tahoe Donner: great skiing, restaurants, fitness facilities, hot tubes, and awesome trails! It is also only a short drive from the charming downtown Truckee.

Upon entering, you’ll be left in awe - the space is grand with gorgeous peaked ceilings with wooden beams, tons of natural light from large windows, and chic furniture and decor. The living room is outfitted with a Smart TV, sofa sleeper, and, best of all - a wood-burning fireplace. A sliding glass door invites you to step out to the large deck with a picnic-style table and umbrella, BBQ, and additional seating.

The master bedroom makes the home, with a King bed, Smart TV, vaulted wooden ceilings, neutral decor, a work desk, and an en suite. There’s also a queen sofa bed in this room if you’re up for sharing. The en suite features a large soaking tub and window that allows you to take in the beautiful redwoods while relaxing.

Down the hall, the 2nd bedroom has a queen murphy bed that folds nicely into a closet for extra space during the day, a twin futon, and glass doors that give access to the patio. This room can easily double as a playroom for kids! It also features a bunker bed for adventurous kids and teenagers.

The kitchen comes fully equipped with a drip coffee maker, blender, toaster, and additional items to allow you to whip up a delicious meal. There’s a farmhouse-style dining table that seats four, and additional seating can be found at the extended kitchen counter.

Back inside, a full bathroom with a shower/tub combo is conveniently located by the living area.

A washer/dryer is located in the unit. There are four parking spots in the driveway.

Your reservation includes two guest passes granting access to the Trout Creek Recreation Center and the private Beach Club Marina for a nominal daily fee per person (for current rates and more details, visit the Tahoe Donner website).

Truckee is a small town in Northern California that has become popular for outdoor enthusiasts in all seasons. The property is in close proximity of two golf courses; Coyote Moon and Tahoe Donner. The historic downtown Truckee is under a 10 min drive where you can enjoy shopping, dining, and historic walking tours. Take a 10 min drive to Donner Lake, a freshwater lake where you can catch some of the biggest trout in California! Squaw Valley and Northstar Resort are 20-25 mins away, a popular destination for avid skiers and mountain bikers!
