House Rules
Check-in and check-out times
Guests may check in to the property from 3:00 p.m. on the day of arrival and must check out of the property by 12:00 pm on the day of departure. The possibility of early check-in and/or check-out is subject to availability and must be confirmed in advance.
Staff Service.
The Staff includes a butler, chef, waiter, and housekeeper from 8:30 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. with a mandatory fee of USD 300 per day. This fee does not include the staff gratuity. Customary gratuities to staff are from USD 50 to USD 75 per week/ per Staff person.
Night waiters and bartenders can be hired at guest request and will be charged at the discretion of the villa policy. The Guest must allow Staff such as pool maintenance workers and gardeners access to the grounds to complete their work.
You must consider that the services provided would be for a maximum amount of 10 guests, if additional guest joins more staff may be necessary. Extra staff fee is $50 USD per day
Additional services such as babysitting, drivers, bartenders, night waiters can be sourced in advance or on-site upon request. However, such services cannot be guaranteed and depend on availability. We recommend the Guest provide as much notice as possible, especially during peak holiday seasons. We shall try to assist. The Owner can assume no liability for such contracted Staff. The rates for these services will be provided in advance. They shall be paid as incurred directly to the Owner´s Representative in the property in cash or directly to the service provider.
Food, Beverages and Grocery pre-stock
Self-catering accommodations require that the Guest supplies all provisions and consumables necessary for daily living. The staff at the property can accommodate any reasonable requests to pre-purchase groceries on the Guest’s behalf, which will be charged in the grocery cost, plus a 20% surcharge fee that covers transportation and time involved in the shopping.
Every day, our chef will offer you delicious meals made with the freshest ingredients every day according to your suggestions. You will receive the Villa Jade's menu. The guest can make the weekly menu or select from our chef's suggestions. Also, you will receive a supermarket list to choose the products you will like to have in the Villa during your stay. Feel free to ask for something different.
Please let us know if you have any specific dietary or allergy requirements that we should consider.
Guest must send their first two days menu at least five days in advance of their arrival so we can be prepared. You will be able to choose the rest of the menu at your arrival with the help and gaudiness of our chef.
As a reference, you can calculate from $30 USD a day per person in groceries. No alcoholic beverages included.
The Guest is obliged to pay full cash provisions or costs incurred before departure.
Meal hours
• Breakfast will be served between 8:30 am and 12:30 pm.
• Lunch will be served between 3:30 pm and 5:00 pm
• Dinner will be served between 8:30 pm and until 10:00 pm.
If you want to make other arrangements for meal hours, please inform our Butler, but always consider staff working hours.
Breakfast is served at each Guest's request.
Guests' lunch and dinner times must be informed daily to our Butler, also if guests are planning to dine out.

Our Concierge can help you with your travel plans or extra services such as:
• Babysitting, driver, waiters, bartender, or night waiter services.
• In house massage.
• Transportation service.
• Yachts or boat reservations.
• Tours and excursions around the city
• Fishing days
• Hiring singers, musicians, or dancers
• Baby equipment rentals such as cribs or high chairs

Pets
No pets are allowed.
Laundry
Limited laundry facilities exist on site. Dry Clean or laundry services by a third-party provider can be arranged at the Guest's cost. The Owner cannot be held accountable for any loss or damage by the third-party provider
Linens and towels
Linen and towels are provided at the Villa. These are normally changed every three (3) days. If you require more frequent changes there may be extra charges.
Utilities
Utility costs are included with the rent. Windows must be closed while air-conditioning is in use. The Villa abides with an eco-friendly policy. Therefore, we request that all air-conditioning be switched off when you need to go out or stay long outside of the Villa; villa staff may comply with this policy. If not respected, the Guest may be charged extra costs on the electricity bill.
Visitors (Day Pass)
The Tenant is allowed to have visitors on the Premises during the day and must inform the Administration manager or the Owner representative in advance since it will probably be necessary to hire extra staff or catering services.
The number of visitors allowed is 40% of the number of guests staying at Villa Jade (e.g. 10 guests = 4 visitors). Above that percent, it will be considered an event and fees apply and
special rules that the owner must authorize. There are no exceptions.
If any visitor remains at the Property for more than 8 hours, an extra fee of $50 USD per visitor will be charge. Visitors are not allowed to sleep over on the Premises without previous authorization from the Administration manager; the Tenant will be subjected to a $300 USD fine if he fails to comply with this regulation
Property use / Events
The Guest agrees that the use of the property is limited to vocational use unless otherwise confirmed in writing.
Gatherings of more than 30 people are not allowed inside the property without prior authorization.
If the Guest is planning to do an event which involves having more than 30 people within the property, or, if the Guest is planning to use the property for a different purpose other than vacations, the Guest must notify the Owner or to the Owner's Representative at the time of reservation as approval or special arrangements are required. Depending on the nature of the event, the Owner or Owner's Representative reserves the right of reservation.
Please note that the property is located within residential development and is subject to rules and regulations regarding its use. Therefore, it may not always be possible to grant permission for specific services or activities due to these or other reasons out of the Owner's control.
If the Owner approves the event, an extra payment and/or an additional security deposit may be required, which will be agreed upon and confirmed in writing between the parties before confirming the reservation.
Suppose the Owner or Owner's Representative confirms a reservation that includes an event at the property in certain circumstances. In that case, the Guest will need to obtain the appropriate permits from the municipality and the local community (board of neighbors) before the event can continue. The Guest acknowledges and agrees that the Owner and/or the Owner's Representative cannot control the issuance of these permits. Suppose the municipality and/or local community refuse to issue a license for an event on the property. In that case, the Owner or the Owner's Representative will refund any event fees paid by the Guest to the Owner. However, neither the Owner nor the Owner's Representative will be responsible for any refund or payment made by the Guest to a third person.
Due Care and Supervision/Indemnity
Guest are required to take due care during their stay and take precautions such as supervision of children in the gardens, near the entrance, and near or in the pool. All children must be under the direct supervision of an adult at all times. Please do not ask our staff to take care of them; if needed, a nanny can be hired for you at extra charge.
No Guests are permitted to enter the property while they are wet from swimming, as floors may become slippery. Damages or injuries resulting from the above-mentioned scenarios are the responsibility of the Guest.
The use of glasses, bottles and any glass article in the pool area are prohibited.
The Guest indemnifies and holds the Owner harmless and free of liability resulting from such claims that result as consequences of accidents leading to injury or loss of life.
Corporate Social Responsibility
For the safety of our guests and employees and the protection of Property, illegal or immoral activities within the villa are strictly prohibited, including prostitution, entry of sex servers, banned drugs, pyrotechnic or the possession or use of firearms and other weapons. The police will be contacted if there is any violation. No refunds will be made in these circumstances.
The Guest is responsible for the Property during the rental period and must ensure that all windows and doors are securely closed when they are not on the premises. Any act or omission on the part of the Guest, their group, and/or visitors that may deny or impair the Property's insurance policy and/or result in loss or damage is the Guest's responsibility.
Valuables
Any personal valuables are the Guest´s responsibility and at one’s own risk, please use in-room safe when available. Neither the owners or the staff, are responsible for loss or damage to valuables.
Artwork
Guests must be aware that the Property contains antiques and art pieces and must avoid causing any damage. Guest shall be held liable for any artwork or antiques damaged during the rental period. The costs will be set off against the security mentioned above deposit. If damages exceed the security deposit, the Guest is liable for the remaining damages and must compensate the Owner for the difference in cost.
Damage or loss
Any damage or loss caused to the Property during the Rental Period and any special cleaning requirements will be the Guest's responsibility and may be charged to the Guest's account or deducted from the Guest's security deposit.
In cases of excessive or unacceptable loss or damage by the Guest or their guests during the Rental Period, the Owner or Owner's Representative may request the Guest, their group, including visitors, to leave the Property immediately, no compensation or refund.
Ecological Policies
In Acapulco, public resources (electricity, gas, and water) are limited; thus, Villa Jade complies with an ecological policy. The Guest agrees to make responsible use services.
- Electricity: We kindly ask all guests to only use air conditioning when in rooms and keep all windows closed when the AC is on. Also, we ask our guest to turn off AC appliances and lighting when not needed or leaving the room. Service personnel can turn off AC or lights when the guest it’s not in the room. In case of ignoring this rule, the Guest may be subject to penalty.
- Water: Water is in short supply in Acapulco, so we ask all guests to take quick showers and not let the sink faucet running unattended. Bedsheets and towels are changed every three days. If a guest requests more frequent changes, there may be an extra charge.

Our group of 10 adults had a fabulous stay at Villa Jade. From the moment of our airport pickup to our departure one week later, the four staff members of Villa Jade catered to our every need. Food, drinks, room and grounds maintenance were all expertly handled. The villa itself is beautiful, with a privileged location near Las Brisas between the airport and the town center. Special thanks to the owner Maria Elena, who was very understanding and rescheduled our visit after one of our group had a medical emergency. Bravo to Villa Jade and its staff. Relax to the max!”

Staying at villa jade is one of the most amazing experiences I have had in recent times. Villa itself is so huge and great with breathtaking views, perhaps the best view of the bay in Acapulco. What was even better, and highlight of the stay, was the staff at home with our Butler Amado, chef Adriana and server Xavier. We had the most delicious vegetarian Mexican food of our life there; I am sure it was excruciatingly painful to find ways to make 14 different vegetarian meals (7 day stay), but our chef did amazing.
