Simply Wonderful

We had two couples staying at this property for six nights. The owner, Stephan, was very helpful throughout. He provided very useful information in advance of our stay and checked on us following our arrival. The local contact, Cheryl, was equally helpful and knowledgeable. The house is wonderful and very well appointed. We very much enjoyed Long Island. It has a wide variety of options to explore; a rental car is a must (preferably an SUV to best handle the roads). The water, the beaches, and the extremely friendly residents made this location very enjoyable. We had drinks and appetizers are Tiny's multiple times. We chose to bring frozen meats and the sort in a cooler with us to the island and bought the various sides at the Hillside grocery store. ”

Best Family Vacation Ever!

We loved every minute at One Love Cottage. The house is amazing in every way. It is beautiful and one never tires of looking at the art and detail, but, at the same time, it is so warm and inviting. We spent every morning and evening on the beautiful back patio overlooking the Caribbean with the most gorgeous sunset. It is the perfect spot for a casual dinner, cocktail, or game! We loved exploring Long Island. Our favorite things included a drive to North Beach to explore Columbus Bay, a short drive south to Galloway Beach and a day through the The Snakes with Yan. We rented a car through Ophelia's and loved working with Pat and Winston. They met us at the airport with our van and we left it with the keys under the mat when we flew home. A big shout out to Max's Conch bar for the best conch salad and Tiny's for everything else we ate! (and margarita's:). But the biggest shout out goes to Stephan and Janice for everything they did to ensure our trip was perfect. We all hope to return.”

Blue Paradise!!! 5 stars all around!

We just got home from the most amazing trip to Long Island, Bahamas, and we are still enjoying the island vibe. This beach front villa ("One Love") is a one of a kind masterpiece. Every single detail of the house is perfection. You can tell how much love and energy was put into building it. There were eight of us in our group. We were very comfortable in multiple bedrooms and beds with superb linens and comfortable mattresses. The decor of the house is warm and luxurious. Nothing was spared in furnishing the house. The kitchen is fully equipped. The internet worked well and there are smart TVs on the house. Mahogany furniture and beautiful pieces of art make the interior as beautiful as the gorgeous terrace facing the beach. The different blue shades of the water and the white sand made for amazing pictures and enjoyable days lazing around the beach. The owners of the house gave us every possible detail needed for our trip. He baby sat us during the entire process of preparing for our trip. He sent us all the information that we needed and more. He was very easy to reach. We hired a boat with a guide twice during our one week stay and it was a fantastic experience. The remote islands and rich sea life were gorgeous. We found a couple of excellent restaurants on the island and you can find almost everything on their local grocery store - just 10 minutes away from the house. A rental car is a must as the island is 80 miles long. We truly loved this beach front villa ("One Love") and Long Island and we are looking forward to going back soon.”

Paradise

5+ stars. Our family had a memorable stay at the Pinders Beachfront Villa and Cottage. The home and cottage are beautiful (amazing art and decor) and have everything you might need to enjoy a relaxing stay on Long Island. Stephan was very responsive throughout the planning process and Cheryl on island as well if we had any issues with our stay. Everyone we met on island was friendly and accommodating. Fishing is fantastic; we went deep sea fishing as well as fly fishing for bonefish and were successful in both. There is a mooring in front of the home for a boat rental if you would like to explore the island on the water. Car rental is needed as the island is 80 miles long and you will want to explore and check out the beautiful beaches, food stands/restaurants and sights.
