Deer valley club

The front desk staff was nice. The rooms are pretty outdated. Pool area isn’t worthwhile. There is no air conditioners so our rooms were very warm even with fans that we were given. Manger wasn’t very accommodating so we checked out 3 days early and stayed somewhere else. Wouldn’t recommend staying there. ”

Deer Valley Club has a incredible staff they realy make you feel at home! The place definitely needs a facelift considering its great location. I did not feel comfortable paying the extra fee that is required, the daily cleaning only consists of towels, the transportation that it includes could not take me to the airport due to my departure time and I do not understand why they charge me extra. That fee should be from the owner. Jhon is an incredible person and he helped me in everything he could, which I am very grateful for.I loved the location and I love deer valley”

Outdated Unit, Some Amenities not Available

We stayed in unit 122 at the Deer Valley Club for a week of skiing. The unit is outdated and needs a refreshing. Be aware that the outdoor hot tub is under repair, so unusable, and the on site restaurant, Reef's, is closed. This information was not provided to us before we booked, despite the $2,000 fee for a 3BR unit that was charged to Third Home members to stay at the club. On the positive side, the concierge skiing was amazing with the help the ski staff provided to make the ski in / ski out boast a reality. In addition, the club provides its own shuttle service to various spots in Deer Valley and Park City which was appreciated. Also, complimentary shuttle service to and from the SLC airport is provided. However, given the downsides, I cannot recommend staying at the Deer Valley Club, there are better options available in the area, but perhaps not affiliated with Third Home.”

This is our second trip to the Deer Valley Club and another fantastic vacation! The personnel throughout the Club are very friendly, helpful and focused on providing a first class experience. I would provide a full 5 stars, but the townhome we stayed in is showing some wear and needs a refresh. Looking forward to our next stay at the Deer Valley Club!”

Excellent service and location

Can’t say enough about the high level of service at the Deer Valley Club, not to mention warm boots in the morning. You always find your skis setting out on the run ready for you to put on and ski down to the lifts. When returning, someone greats you outside to take your skis from you at the end of your day. This place is the best!”

Deer Valley Ski condo

Very well located Deer Valley property with easy access to slopes. Staff very helpful and friendly. No need for car as Deer Valley Club has complementary shuttle service to town and surrounding Park City area. Unit is adequate but tired , especially in need of new carpet. Assigned unit for THIRDHOME exchange is on lower level without views. Overall it’s a nice property and good value for the exchange. ”

Quiet get-away in the summer

We enjoyed our stay at the Deer Valley Club in August. The staff is really helpful and very accommodating. The Deer Park Mountain has great hiking and bike trails right outside the door. We never used our car all week. The resort has transportation to local areas which we used. So much easier than parking and navigating directions. The bathroom and kitchen in the condo were updated. The living room area and carpet I hope will be next as they are somewhat worn and very typical for a ski resort. ”

Summer fun in Deer Valley

The Deer Valley Club's staff is amazing! We were shuttled back and forth to the airport and around Park City. The Club is located directly on the mountain providing direct access to hiking and biking trails. The facilities were clean and well stocked. Highly recommend for summer or winter!”

Great Ski-In/Ski-Out Location - Average Unit Finishes

The Deer Valley Club provided great service and an unbeatable ski-in/ski-out location. The unit itself was average and had no views of the mountains but it was located on the same level as the amenity deck which was convenient with kids. Overall, great stay as long as you know the positives and negitives of this property. ”

Well-located on the mountain, ski-in and ski-out

Staff were quite helpful, assisting with our luggage and skis, and loaning us a French press and coffee grinder. The condo was spacious, though somewhat dark as on the first floor, and no view of the mountain. There are apparently nicer units on higher floors not available to Third Home exchangers. Nevertheless, the location was conveniently located next to the garage where we kept our car. Appliances and cookware were brand new (never before used) and highest quality, which was great because we cooked all of our own meals, baked bread and brownies, made sandwiches for lunch each day when we went to Park City. When we skied at Deer Valley, we just skied back to the lodge and had lunch in our condo. We shopped at Whole Foods at Kimball Junction on our way from the airport before going to the condo. While it had DirecTv, we brought our own HDMI cable so we could stream Netflix from our laptop. We highly recommend the Deer Valley Club!”

Boot room staff & drivers awesome

Apartment 472. Good location as one flight of stairs to boot room which was directly underneath. I thought the living space was a little cramped for 5 people and overall a little tired (furniture etc) throughout so a little disappointing vs expectations. Deer Valley Club facilities ..... thought the facilities were quite good, maybe a little tired (games room) but really didn’t get to use many of the others so not complaining. Deer Valley Club staff. Generally very good. Boot room staff and drivers are awesome ... excellent attention to detail, fast service.”

What an amazing vacation. Everyone was so nice and helpful. The views were beautiful. And walking out your door to warm ski boots, skis cleaned and waiting for you and a lift directly down from the Club was epic. We have stayed here in the summer and loved it, but winter is even more fun. Highly recommend this Club all year round.”

Perfect for families

Our trip to Deer Valley was very last minute and the staff was more than helpful with all of our questions. As some other reviews have said we didn't stay in the condo shown in the pictures however our condo was just as nice with plenty of space. Three bedrooms and four baths, sleeps 6 comfortably. (for 8 you would need an air mattress which they can provide). We loved the game room and workout room for our teens, the shuttle service to Park City Mtn was also helpful since our boys snowboard. The kitchen is fully stocked and nicely decorated. Would definitely stay again! ”

This is a lovely part of Deer Valley Mountain with restaurants, hiking, swimming, shopping, biking, and walking through the pretty neighborhoods. We really enjoyed a swim in the pool and using the hot tub after our adventures every day. The kitchen is well equipped and we enjoyed eating in quite a bit. The staff was helpful and brought us towels, firewood, or anything we needed. ”

Summer splendor

The mountains in the summer never disappoint. We visited over the 4h of July and while this was a very odd year due to the coronavirus, we managed to have a great visit despite the restrictions. The staff at DVC are outstanding. Always willing to help and respond immediately to any request that you may have. The condo was spotlessly clean and well equipped. We appreciated that housekeeping services were still available daily if you wanted it. Our one complaint with the accommodations is the lack of air-conditioning in the whole complex. Our unit faced South and got quite hot during the day, not really even cooling off at night despite the cool outdoor temps and leaving doors open. Many things not open due to COVID, including limited days for riding lifts in PC, so check activities and restaurant schedules carefully if you plan to visit during this pandemic.”

Our family had a wonderful ski week at the Deer Valley Club. The ski staff in particular was very attentive and helped us with equipment storage, information, lift tickets, and anything we needed. The ski-in/ski-out location on the upper mountain of Deer Valley was amazing and the Club amenities including hot tubs, workout facility, club room with games, and fire pit were top notch. We will definitely return!”

John Stoner Ops Mgr at DVC went out of his way to help us with our reservation. We are so very grateful to what he did. He and the entire staff gave us excellent service for our entire week. We like it so much that we reserved a 2nd week at this wonderful property. Wonderful restaurant with Israel Chef called REEFS in the hotel. Food was delicious and service was fantastic. They only charge $10 wine corkage fee. Great deal. Drivers are friendly and they will take you anywhere within 5 miles of the Resort. We can not wait to come back! ”

Deer valley is a great area

Love the Utah Landscape of Mountains, Lakes, waterfalls, etc. This townhouse is well located, but the unit faced the siding of another building. Couldn’t leave the shades down as lights were blaring in our eyes from the side of the building. Many places here do not have AC but on several hot nights, we were really uncomfortable without AC. Our only option was a noisy fan. Pool is very tiny wedged in on all four sides. Kitchen is very tiny and not enough room to cook. Restaurant is open a few nights during the week. We gave it 3 stars as the staff was very friendly, attentive and they provide car service in to town. ”

Loved a skiing spring break

Skied Deer Valley for Spring Break. Location can't be beat with the ski in ski out right onto the slopes. No need for a car as they will take you where ever you want to go. Enjoyed our stay very much!”

Relaxing and Wonderful

This was our second stay at the Deer Valley Club and we loved it. The condo is spacious and comfortable, and the girls enjoyed having their own bedroom and bathroom. Every morning we would go hiking out the back door of the resort - which is right on the mountain. We enjoyed the friendly service, and the way the drivers at Deer Valley would run us into downtown Park City when needed. We also took a guided hike with Jane that was a blast! The Deer Valley Club resort is right on the mid-mountain, in the middle of the action at Deer Valley. We were there in early August, so it was all hiking, biking, rafting, etc. We prefer the summer activities in Park City, UT. But I hear the skiing is fabulous too. This resort has a great health club and pool area with two hot tubs. I highly recommend The Deer Valley Club for a fun family vacation! Thank you 3rd Home.”

Perfect in Every Way

I'm not sure how much better our vacation could have been. We were picked up by the Deer Valley Club at the airport and pampered our entire vacation. We were escorted everywhere we needed to go. The concierge made great recommendations, the kids learned to ski nearby, and the weather was perfect. Can't wait for our return!!”

Great time at the DVC

We had a great time at the Deer Valley Club. The staff went above and beyond to be friendly and accommodating, and the location can't be beat. Staying mid-mountain with ski and ski out access was a real treat. The three bedroom condo was meticulously maintained. The bathrooms were modern and clean, and the furnishings were tastefully done. Having daily maid service was a nice option. We traveled with our two sons who loved the game room and the heated pool. My husband I took advantage of the gym facility as well. Overall, we had a fabulous trip and felt pampered and relaxed. ”

Great location and staff

Had a great week in Park City. Skied two days each at the Canyons, Deer Valley, and Park City. It was kind of a shame to ski anywhere but Deer Valley because DVC's location can't be beat. It was great using the complimentary shuttle around town and to/from the airport. Don't miss lunch at the Stein Erikson across the street and the seafood buffet at Deer Valley at night. SkiUtah has a passport program that allows 5th graders to get 3 free lift tickets to every mountain in the state of Utah. Sixth graders get 1 free pass to every resort. Apply a few weeks before you arrive to allow time to get the passes in the mail. Students need not be residents of Utah. I picked up all our adult lift tickets in Salt Lake City at a discount, available at any sporting goods store or Costco in SLC. The Deer Valley Club has a great little store near the lobby for beer/wine and basic food needs. We used the business center at night as a quiet place for the kids to do the homework for the week they were missing in school. The pool and hot tub are great, the ski room very convenient. They even carry your skis out in the morning to a rack on the slope. Just ski down 100 yards to the lift. Would definitely love to stay here again next year.”
