Relax fireside with a book, or while enjoying a show on the large flat screen TV. The open-concept kitchen is newly updated and features an island with seating, and just steps away is a country-style dining table with seating for 7. A wall of floor-to-ceiling windows offers picturesque views of the pine tree forest that surrounds the property. Fancy an afternoon BBQ? Head outdoors to the huge deck off the living area and fire up the gas grill while overlooking the peaceful surroundings of the Prosser Heights neighborhood.

Tucked away from the main living area are three bedrooms and two full bathrooms. The large master bedroom offers a plush king-size bed and private ensuite bathroom with a separate tiled tub and shower. The rustically styled second bedroom features a queen size bed. The third bedroom is a bunk room, perfect for the kids, with a set of twin bunks and a twin trundle bed.

Just step outside, and you’ll find Truckee’s outstanding natural beauty is yours to explore. There are hiking and biking trails steps from the property. Prosser Lake is a five-minute walk from the house where you can kite and windsurf. Enjoy leisurely fishing at Prosser Lake or get active and hit the nearby ATV, hiking and biking trails. The Emigrant Trail is also less than 2 miles away, arguably Truckee’s most popular mountain biking route. Truckee River Regional Park is only 3 miles from the house

Beautiful downtown Truckee is only a five-minute drive from the cabin. There you'll find art galleries, wine bars, and great restaurants. Northstar Ski Resort is just a 15-minute drive and Squaw Valley Ski Resort is a short 30-minute drive. Stunningly beautiful Lake Tahoe is only 20 minutes away. There you'll be able to engage in a host of water sports from boating to water skiing to frolicking lakeside.
